Honorary and memorial contributions

Marjorie Stimack

We bid a fond farewell to Marjorie Stimack, a strong supporter of the Foundation and BPW over many years, who died in 2007. A member of the Board of Trustees for several years and a member of Arvada BPW since 1973, she served the foundation in many roles, including president, secretary and on the foundation’s scholarship review committee. Ms. Stimack began her career as an executive secretary and later worked as an educator and trainer. She taught disabled children in Adams County and was a training specialist at Coors, where she taught courses in listening, delegating and overcoming procrastination. She once wrote, “I believe education makes all the difference and am dedicated to helping women attain self-sufficiency.”
